Fantastic Furniture is growing our Marketplace and Online Exclusives (Dropship) channels and we’re looking for a commercially curious Junior Buyer to support this exciting phase of growth. This role is ideal for someone early in their buying career who is eager to learn, data-driven, and motivated to help build and scale new online channels.
Reporting to the Buyer – Marketplace & Online Exclusives, you’ll support range development, supplier management, promotions, and day‑to‑day marketplace operations, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and platform partners.
What You’ll Be Doing
Support category and range development across Online Exclusives
Assist with sourcing new products, new suppliers, and identifying market gaps
Manage SKU build administration, pricing, and content accuracy
Support supplier relationships and ensure compliance with quality and legislative standards
Partner with Marketing to execute supplier‑funded promotional activity
Assist with reporting, analysis, and range reviews
Data management and day‑to‑day category administration
Marketplace Operations
Manage day‑to‑day operations of Marketplace platforms
Build and maintain Marketplace listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, images, pricing, inventory, and SEO‑optimised content
Execute Marketplace promotions and monitor performance
Conduct regular audits of listings and resolve issues promptly
Identify and implement process and system improvements to support scale
Collaboration & Operations
Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Digital, Product & Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and offshore teams
Support B2B and customer service queries where required
Ensure all administration, reporting, and promotional activity is delivered accurately and on time
What We Are Seeking
2+ years’ experience in a retail buying, e‑commerce, or marketplace environment
Strong commercial mindset and willingness to learn and develop
Data‑savvy with advanced Excel skills and confidence using multiple systems
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Curiosity for product trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity landscape
Experience in Marketplace or Dropship models is highly regarded
