About the role
As a supported independent living lifestyle support worker you will play a vital role in supporting our recipients to live their best life - empowering individuals to build confidence, work towards their goals and improve their mental wellbeing and connect with the community.
You work one-on-one in the homes and communities of our recipients to support them to live as independently as possible. Selectability are currently seeking individuals who would be interested in working in supported independent living, these roles offer a variety of shifts—including day, night, and weekends—providing flexibility to suit different lifestyles and commitments.
Balancing work and personal commitments can be a challenge, whether you are pursuing further education or caring for loved ones during the day, having the flexibility of working a night schedule can assist to support your lifestyle.
You may work with recipients in their homes to carry out activities like clean and organise, prepare healthy meals or maintain a yard and generally make positive choices.
