Job Description
Melrose Built is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator with a strong background in new build construction to join our New Build division. You will play a key role in supporting project delivery through procurement, commercial management, and risk control, ensuring compliance with safety and contractual obligations.
Reporting to the Project Manager and Team Lead, the role supports the project from award through completion, providing commercial oversight and coordination to deliver successful outcomes for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Support project delivery through commercial management and contract administration
Champion Melrose’s safety systems and ensure compliance with WHS standards
Manage subcontractor procurement, claims, and variations with transparency
Assist with budget development, forecasting, and cost reporting
Provide timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making
Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
About You
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator on builder-side new build projects
Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of contract management
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic project environment
Commitment to proactive safety culture and ethical work practices
