Our United Food Co is a family-owned Food Wholesale business, growing rapidly across Australia. We provide exceptional great products & service to the Independent Supermarkets & Food outlets across all states. This role is based at Wetherill Park NSW and deliveries will be for to the below areas.

About the Role

We currently have 1 position available for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Driver who will also help when required in the Warehouse environment, to join our NSW team on a full-time basis as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate. Main role is delivering orders to supermarkets and food stores but will also have some minimal warehouse work when required.

Your Job tasks and responsibilities will include: 

• Delivering goods to Food outlets (Independent Supermarkets / Distribution Centres etc) Good safe driving skills is required. MR Licence is required (this is the main job role) HR would be an advantage

• Picking and packing orders onto pallets

• Being professional with all persons receiving stock

• Team player assisting warehouse when required

• Working in a grocery/chiller and frozen environment

• Forklift activity (loading/unloading trucks & general use)

About You

You must meet the below selection criteria in order to fulfill the requirements of this role. 

You must be & possess the below Skills, Qualifications & Experience: 

• Punctual and Reliable

• Display a great work ethic & can-do attitude

• Team player

• Possess good attention to detail

• Organised

• Fit & healthy ( able to lift 15kg)

• Good Time management skills

• Can work unsupervised and in a team

• Have the ability to work autonomously

• Can work efficiently and effectively in high pressure situations

• Possess experience and knowledge of deliveries & warehousing

• Highly presentable

• Current & unrestricted Drivers Licence

• Current Forklift Licence would be an advantage

• Current HR licence is very much preferred but MR will be ok

• Medical clearance from doctor to work this role

In addition to the above, you must also have the capability to work in a highly physical job.

You may also be required to work extra hours if required, so flexibility is necessary towards this role.
