Civil Supervisor

About the role

At JRC Civils, we are looking for experienced Civil Supervisors (both Metro and DIDO) to lead and coordinate site works across earthworks, drainage, concrete, underground/above-ground services, and roads/pavements . You will play a key role in managing crews and subcontractors, maintaining program targets, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. We are seeking someone with a solid track record in civil infrastructure delivery, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

What youll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews to complete projects on time and within budget

• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and crews.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

• Assist in the planning and scheduling of work activities to optimise productivity and resource utilisation

• Manage labour, materials, and equipment to maximise efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for project activities

• Enforce company policies and procedures on site.

What were looking for

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in a civil construction supervisory role

• Strong technical knowledge of civil construction methods, materials and equipment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project objectives

• Working knowledge of relevant construction regulations, safety standards and quality control procedures

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, plans and specifications

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or construction management
