Our people are passionate about their communities and connected to their teams. They’re motivated by our genuine commitment to diversity and inclusion, and our clear, compelling plan for our global city: Sustainable Sydney 2030 – 2050 Continuing the Vision.

Be part of a purpose-led organisation with care at its core. You’ll make a difference by acting in the best interests of our communities and city. Be better together with collaborative and inclusive partnerships. Embrace possibilities and be open to new ideas and creating bold solutions.

About the role

Every day our Cleansing Operations team prides ourselves on keeping the City’s roads, footpaths, and laneways clean and tidy.

To do this you will need to be physically fit and able to operate and drive some of our smaller cleansing vehicles. We hope you will have a clean Class C drivers licence and a proven driving record.

We are seeking self‑motivated, dedicated people who take pride in their work and able to complete physically demanding tasks around Sydney.

  • Be physically fit and able to lift and bend easily.
  • Demonstrated experience in manual labouring.
  • Hold a current Class C drivers’ licence with a clean record.
  • Be available to work weekday shifts, some weekends and public holidays.

The successful candidates will be committed team players who enjoy working outdoors and are able to communicate well with others.
