ICT BUSINESS ANALYST Position: ICT Business Analyst Employer: Mouri Tech Pty Ltd Address: 105, 49th Floor/8 Parramatta Sq, Parramatta NSW 2150 Salary: $100,000 ($80,000 - $140,000) Superannuation: 12.50% Hours per week: 38 hours Category: Full Time / Permanent Days/Timings: Monday to Friday 9 am till 5 pm RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather and translate business needs into actionable requirements. 2. Drive requirement elicitation workshops, stakeholder discussions, and analysis sessions to define business objectives and expected outcomes. 3. Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational improvements. 4. Support end-to-end project delivery activities by coordinating across cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with project goals. 5. Facilitate communication between business users and development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented. 6. Ensure traceability of requirements across project phases through documentation, validation, and change management activities. 7. Participate in solution reviews, business process assessments, and functional evaluations to ensure alignment with business expectations. 8. Contribute to project governance by supporting risk identification, issue management, and project status reporting. 9. Assist in prioritization activities by evaluating business impact, dependencies, and implementation feasibility. 10. Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements and operational efficiencies. DUTIES: 1. Conduct requirement gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discussions to capture business and functional requirements. 2. Prepare and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), process flows, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. 3. Analyze business workflows, operational procedures, and existing systems to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities. 4. Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and system interaction models to support solution design activities. 5. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for development and technical teams. 6. Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. 7. Develop requirement traceability matrices (RTMs) to ensure complete mapping between requirements, design, testing, and delivery. 8. Support sprint planning, backlog refinement sessions, prioritization exercises, and Agile ceremonies where applicable. 9. Participate in solution validation activities, ensuring delivered functionality aligns with documented requirements. 10. Develop test scenarios, support test case preparation, and participate in user acceptance testing activities. 11. Coordinate defect triaging activities and assist teams in clarifying functional expectations during testing cycles. 12. Support deployment activities by validating business readiness and ensuring solution adoption requirements are met. 13. Prepare training materials, user guides, and process documentation to support operational transition activities. 14. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and training programs for end users and business teams. 15. Monitor requirement changes, assess business impact, and maintain documentation version control. 16. Support vendor coordination and third-party interactions where external systems or integrations are involved. 17. Provide ongoing support during post-implementation phases to address functional issues and enhancement requests. 18. Contribute to project reporting activities by maintaining requirement status, risks, dependencies, and milestone updates.
