We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with current Immuniser qualifications for casual immunisation shifts during the annual influenza vaccination season, typically running from mid-March to mid/late June. Our client has multiple opportunities across all major capital cities and regional areas in NSW, VIC, ACT, WA, SA, QLD and TAS.
These roles are ideal for nurses looking for flexible part-time hours, with rosters ranging from 20–40 hours per week, and full-time hours available for those who are interested.
The hourly rate is based on weekday availability, experience, and ability to manage cold chain requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely administer vaccines in line with National Immunisation Program Standards and state health guidelines • Travel between scheduled workplaces/clinic sites throughout the day • Maintain annual competencies including CPR, anaphylaxis management, and immunisation updates • Accurately document immunisations and manage vaccine stock and consumables • Monitor and maintain cold chain processes, reporting and managing any breaches • Follow all Work Health & Safety policies and legislative requirements • Ensure high standards of infection prevention, clinical safety, and patient care
Essential Requirements
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse • Nurse Immuniser qualification (state recognised) • Strong digital literacy—confidence using computers, mobile devices, and digital documentation • Current CPR and Anaphylaxis training • Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain) • Valid Driver Licence
