Job Description

Our Outside School Hours Care service, Brookfield State SchoolHelping Hands,, is looking for a passionateAssistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children.

Thispermanent part-time opportunity offers 25 hours per week. You'll work Monday to Friday in split shifts across our programs:

☀️ Rise then Shine Program – Morning shifts (6:30am – 9:00am)
Stay and Play Program – Afternoon shifts (2:50pm – 6:00pm)
Holiday HQ Program – Extra hours available during school holidays (7:00am – 6:00pm)

Your role will include:

  • Leading fun-filled programs where children explore everything from STEM and sports to arts & crafts (whatever sparks their imagination!).
  • Fostering strong connections with children, parents, and the school community to create a nurturing environment.
  • Managing a team of passionate Educators, including organizing rosters and helping them grow in their roles.
  • Assisting with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring everything runs smoothly, including compliance and administration.
