About the Opportunity

The Service Desk Officer (ASO3) is responsible for supporting business operations by providing customer focussed, first level ICT support, and effective ICT incident resolution. The Service Desk Officer will additionally undertake varying service request fulfilment and administrative duties that align to Service Desk team’s outcome, objectives and KPI’s. This role places a strong emphasis on the end to end management of customer requests, and the provision of outcomes that ultimately result in enhanced customer satisfaction.

About the Business

The Technology Services Business Unit is responsible for helping to meet a wide range of IT needs throughout the department by providing expertise and services in ICT Service Desk and Desktop Support, Infrastructure Management and Technical Support, ICT Contract Management and Procurement, ICT Security and Policy, IT Asset Management, software licensing and compliance, ICT Change Management that assist in meeting the overall AGD objectives.

Special Conditions for Employment

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
