  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $139,787 to $161,663 + super

Natural Resources Access Regulator (NRAR) enforces the NSW water laws and offers guidance and education to help water users comply. We strive to be an efficient and effective regulator that celebrates and reflects the diversity of the community we serve. Working with NRAR provides a chance to make sure water is used lawfully so that all communities and the environment get a fair share.

NRAR are seeking to appoint a Manager Education in a fixed term full-time capacity to June 2025, with possibility of extension.

About You

Lead and manage a team to design, implement and evaluate education programs that support the regulated community to understand their obligations and improve voluntary compliance. The role collaborates across other NRAR business units to identify opportunities for educational tools to be utilized and designs broad and/or targeted programs that can achieve efficient behaviour change.

A key accountability is the project management and leadership of a portfolio of projects, including scoping and delivery of project outcomes, managing resources, and reporting and monitoring of project outcomes to ensure project activities support the implementation of NRAR and Department objectives.

Essential Requirements

  • Extensive experience in compliance and regulatory operations, communications and/or targeted education programs.
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and some travel throughout the state is required.
  • Appointment is subject to the successful applicant satisfactorily passing the criminal record check.
